The Admissions Office (located within Academic Services) provides information to potential applicants, provides appropriate systems,
processes and support to manage student applications and offers and ensures that the University at large is well-placed and visible to maximise
student recruitment opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include receiving and recording course applications ensuring that additional documentation is logged and connected to the applicant. You will undertake appropriate assessment of applications and review and process potential offers and rejections including undertaking follow-up work where appropriate to prepare students for pre-registration.

In the role, you will require attention to detail and be able to work quickly and accurately to process high volumes of applications. There will be frequent contact with tutors, prospective students and sponsors, hence excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required.

Much of the work is computer based, so IT literacy, experience of using databases and the web are essential. You will also support the wider work of the Department at major University events such as Open Days, Registration and Graduation ceremonies.
