The Wincton Christmas Market is expected to draw large numbers of visitors to the town centre from late November through to 22nd December.
As in previous years, the Christmas Market is situated in The Open with the Cathedral as a back-drop.
The Christmas Market is inspired by German Christmas markets, with wooden chalets as exhibitor stalls offering a wide range of hand-made, craft products which are not available on the high street. Local craftspeople offer a number of Christmas favourites such as jewellery, paintings, glass wares and fine textiles. There are also a host of seasonal decorations for sale. For those wanting food and drink to keep out the cold, there are festive favourites such as mulled wine, bratwurst, mince pies and stollen.
